Semper Surf (Formerly After Dune Delight): Semi-Oceanfront home centrally located in Nags Head with ocean views, private & community pool access, hot tub, pool table, and easy beach access.

Semper Surf has all the amenities you need to relax and enjoy a wonderful OBX vacation. Located semi-oceanfront you are just steps away from the beautiful Nags Head beaches where you can spend the day basking in the sun, surfing, swimming, maybe even finding some beautiful sea glass. Grab your morning coffee and enjoy the sunrise over the Atlantic from the top-level sun decks. The great room is comfortable and offers space for everyone to gather to watch their favorite blockbuster movies. The family chef will love the spacious kitchen that provides all the tools needed to create some delicious meals and with the large island with seating for four invites company while the chef creates their magic. The dining area with ocean views provides the perfect spot to enjoy a great meal and plan those next-day adventures.

Everyone will find a place to end their day resting with five en-suites and two kids' bedrooms. The spacious covered decks provide the perfect spot to read or listen to your favorite tunes. Kids will love the lower-level rec room where they can play a game of pool, and watch their favorite movies, or shows and the wet bar with a full-size refrigerator makes it perfect to have drinks and snacks on hand. Enjoy some time at the community pool that is only steps away or float in your own private pool (pool heat can be added for an additional fee.). End the day relaxing in the hot tub making sure you are ready for more fun exploring the OBX.

Community Amenities: Semper Surf guests have access to the Oceanwatch Community amenities including:

Beach Access: Just a short walk from the home! Safely cross Virginia Dare Trail at the pedestrian crosswalk at the end of Ocean Watch Court.  Head south to Forrest Street to access the beach. Access has a paved parking lot for those who choose to drive, outdoor showers and a lifeguard stand (in-season only).

Family/Friends OBX NYE Getaway
We do a group family trip with 2-3 other families for the time after Christmas and through New Year's Eve. We've found the Outer Banks to be the perfect spot! Plenty of places are open while still providing a relaxing week. Kitchen: Kitchen is very well stocked! We ate at the house for about 65% of our meals and the only thing missing was a large pitcher so we bought one and left it at the house. Bedrooms: Each bedroom on the top two floors has an en suite! The beds are firm. Gameroom: The "little" kids loved the game room! Great space for them to be able to watch what they want, play video games, etc. Hottub: The kids loved the hot tub! Location: Amazing location! The public access is across the street. So many things to do, shops, and restaurants close by. The house is on Highway 12 so you will hear traffic from the road. This was not a big deal since we were there in the winter with less traffic. Coastal Carolina Vacations: We booked through VRBO who then booked through Coastal Carolina Vacations and they were AMAZING! We didn't have any problems but their communication was supurb! I received text notifications before, during, and after our stay that were very helpful (trash days, door codes, wifi password, etc). Overall, the house was great! Some areas are more updated than others so I guess the owners are updating as they have time between renters. We would definitely rent this house again!

Great family rental
This was our third year vacationing in the OBX. This home was probably the best one. With 11 people, the 7 en-suites worked out great. The location was great. Short walk to beach and to evening ice cream shops. Heated pool and hot tub was awesome after a day at the beach. Kitchen was well equipped. The only thing we were not crazy about was the driveway being on the steep side but everything else was great so I would certainly rent this place again.

Great Stay!
Our family had a great week here! The layout worked well for our large group. The house is very well maintained and Coastal Carolina Vacations was super responsive to some minor maintenance items. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and area activities. Our group would definitely consider renting again!

Wonderful stay
My family and I had a wonderful stay here! With the five ensuites and two kids’ bedrooms it fit everyone comfortably, and had a spacious living area. We enjoyed the decks and the proximity to the beach and other activities in the area. We would definitely consider renting again!

Perfect!
This was our 7th OBX rental house and by far our favorite. The house is beautiful and well maintained, the location is great, the floor plan and layout worked well for our group of 16. Hope to return next year!
