Dunesbury will make your vacation as carefree as possible. The mid-level sun deck is well furnished where you can start your day with a cup of coffee while you breathe in the ocean air and make your plans for a fun-filled day or hang out on the screened-in porch with a favorite book. With a well-equipped kitchen, the chefs in the group will love preparing a meal any time of the day. The living area allows everyone to relax in comfort to watch movies, play games and create unforgettable family memories. The top-level king room offers ocean views and a private deck, and a queen room and two kids' rooms give everyone a comfortable place to retreat for the evening. Pack up the family and doggies and let Dunesbury be your OBX getaway year after year and leave fully rejuvenated.

Community Amenities: Dunesbury guests have access to the Ocean Sands community tennis courts. Note: Trailers, boats, and mobile homes/RVs are not allowed to be parked in the driveways of any Ocean Sands properties; parking is only permitted in the driveways of homes; golf carts and motorized carts/scooters/buggies are also prohibited in Ocean Sands.

Exploring Corolla: Dunesbury is located near the Currituck Club golf course, Harris Teeter grocery store, and several restaurants and shops. Explore the beautiful Outer Banks and all its treasures of historic sites, lighthouses, outdoor adventures, local restaurants, and unique shops.

What a relaxing week at Dunesbury!

A recent stay at Dunesbury provided a lifetime of memories for my mother and me, along with a dear friend of mine. Location-wise, this is the perfect place! The two-story cottage is situated right on the beach with an access point immediately to the right of it. A quick walk over the dunes leads you to the beach, which stretches for miles in either direction. The cottage has four bedrooms and can easily sleep twelve comfortably. I loved the screened side porch that was decorated with miniature lights and furniture. My mom found this area to be the best for afternoon naps! Sunsets are amazing right from either of the decks and provide postcard-worthy photos. The same can be said for sunrise, but I'd recommend the master bedroom deck for catching the most beautiful pics. Another important feature is that Dunesbury is dog-friendly which was extremely important to me. My Jack Russell loved playing in the surf, digging on the beach, and napping in the shade back at the cottage. The kitchen was well-equipped and I easily located a muffin pan to make cupcakes, as well as a crockpot to cook dinner in one evening. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful Dunesbury is and how relaxed I felt during my stay there.

Perfect Family Vaca!

Had such a cozy stay at Dunesbury! Coastal Carolina was also very responsive and clearly values customer service. The location to the beach was amazing. Would come back!

We will stay here again!

My family just returned from our week long stay in Dunesbury. This property had everything we wanted and more! The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking tools you could possibly need. It’s as close as you can get to the ocean which was great because with young kids we have to haul a lot of stuff down to the beach! Our daughter slept comfortably in the provided pack-and-play, and our son thought the bunk beds were really fun. The screened in porch was definitely the grown-up’s favorite place to hang out after the kids’ bedtime! We will stay at Dunesbury again and next time we’ll bring our dog!
