Places to Eat in Manteo

Located right on the water in Shallowbag Bay, the abundance of fresh and local food makes Manteo a great place to stop and get some food.  With a wide variety of options available, even the pickiest of eaters will find something that they enjoy.

For dinner with a view, Blue Water Grill and Raw Bar is the restaurant that can't be beat!  Located right at the entrance of Pirate's Cove, Blue Water offers the freshest seafood dishes, delicious drinks and views of the marina where you can view boats coming in from a day of fishing. Open for lunch and dinner, daily.

If you’re over on Roanoke Island for the day, be sure to visit Ortega’z which is located in downtown Manteo, just a quick walk from the Manteo waterfront. Poor Richards Sandwich Shop has been a locals and visitor-alike favorite since 1984!  Serving up delicious sandwiches, burgers, salads and desserts right on the waterfront boardwalk in Manteo, visiting the shop is a tradition that you'll want to keep for years to come.  Open Monday through Saturday, year-round.
