Wedges 13: Dog-friendly, soundside home in the Villages at Nags Head with a view of the 13th fairway, access to a great community pool and tennis courts at the Village Beach Club.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious deck overlooking the 13th fairway at Wedges 13. The top-level great room is bright and airy and perfect for relaxing to watch your favorite shows, the well-equipped kitchen has all you need to prepare some delicious meals, and the dining area offers ample seating for everyone or dine al-fresco on the screened-in porch.

Community Amenities: Guests of Wedges 13 have access to the Villages at Nags Head Community amenities including:
  • Two Soundside Parks with Piers and Picnic Areas
  • The Village Oceanfront Bathhouse - Restrooms, Sun Decks and Oceanfront Gazebo.
  • Village Beach Club- Oceanfront Pool and Tennis club 

Visiting Nags Head: Conveniently located near the community soundside pier, local restaurants, shops, and many outdoor attractions. Guest of Wedges 13 have use of the Village Beach Club amenities with an oceanfront pool, tennis courts, and family activities (in-season).

Beach Access: Just a quick drive to the beach!  Turn out of the driveway onto W Seachase Drive.  Cross the bypass (Hwy. 158) onto Epstein St.  Head south to the Town Hall beach access.  The access offers a paved parking lot, a wooden walkway to the beach and lifeguard (in-season).

Meeting My Great Grandson!
A fun time was had by all--my daughter and husband; son; granddaughter and husband and their 7-month old baby boy who definitely had a great time. Thank you for a place to visit with family and my new great grandbaby. I believe my son, son-in-law, and grandson-in-law are real chefs as they thoroughly enjoyed using the grill and fixing breakfast. Thank you for quite an enjoyable time.

Family beach trip
This property was super nice, we even had a welcome basket on the counter! The rooms are large and comfortable and the veiws were even better. There were plenty of beach items to use in the downstairs starage area for the girls to use while staying and visiting the beach. Will certainly recommend and come back!

Perfect
Our multigenerational family stayed in Wedges 13 for the first time and it was the perfect house for our family. The home has everything that we may have needed for our stay in the OBX. We are frequent visitors to the area, but we have never stayed on the sound side and we are so happy that we did. This home had a wonderful access area to the sound and we enjoyed morning crabbing and evening walks to see the exquisite sunsets. Wedges 13 has decks on every level that we enjoyed viewing those incredible OBX sunrises and sunsets. The Village Beach Club is also a nice perk of the home, it is an amazing pool and offers an easy beach access. We had an amazing week and would definitely stay here again.

Great place
We enjoyed everything! The home was very well stocked with great kitchen supplies and lots of nice extras. Great location. We loved our daily short walks to the sound dock to watch the sunset. Teen kids loved being able to swim in the ocean or the sound.

We had a minor injury due to the condition of the downstairs bathtub but other than that it was a great vacation the house was beautiful and close to everything

Ideal location!
Staying in Nags Head always fun but this location with easy walk to the pier for sunsets over the Sound was ideal!

Answer:

Thank you for reaching out!  The closest beach access is located off of Epstein street.  The beach access is a short bike ride or about a 10 to 15 minute walk.  The beach access does have parking available in case you would like to drive.  The community also offers a free trolley service during in-season to and from the beach.  Our team is available to assist with any questions at 866-938-7497.  Thank you!
