Newwinds Hideaway is the perfect semi-oceanfront home to have a fun and relaxing OBX vacation. Enjoy your morning coffee, salty breezes, and an awesome sunrise as you start your day sitting on the top-level sun deck. You are just steps away from the community walkway to the beach where you can spend the day swimming, surfing, sunbathing, or just relaxing and listening to the waves. Everyone can gather in the great room for some time together preparing some favorite meals or watching sports or movies. End your day relaxing in the hot tub and stargazing. Pets are family too so bring them along to enjoy this fun vacation.

Community Amenities: Guests of Newwinds Hideaway have access to the Villages at Nags Head Community amenities including:

Two Soundside Parks with Piers and Picnic Areas
The Village Oceanfront Bathhouse - Restrooms, Sun Decks and Oceanfront Gazebo.

Great stay

This home is well setup for a memorable vacation. Located close to the beach, good restaurants, shopping and many attractions, it's hard to beat. This was the second year our family stayed there and we enjoyed it again.

Quick get away

Check in was super easy, most information was done via text. The location was great, a short walk with a pathway directly to the beach. Easy to get around with kids. Easy parking. A perfect trip for a family get away.

Can’t Go Wrong With Coastal Carolina

PERFECT LOCATION! Beach Access is right out the back door. Community pool is super close as well. Easy walk! Hot tub was wonderful. We didn’t even miss not having our own private pool. Anything we brought to management company, they fixed within the hour. Older home, but when you have such an outstanding management company like, Coastal Carolina, it doesn’t matter the age of the home. We would stay in this house again next year if the same families were returning. Unfortunately I think we are going to be needing a 14+bedroom. (CC will definitely get our business first)

Great Vacation

Our family enjoyed a great vacation at this Outer Banks home. The home was clean, spacious, and had all the comforts and amenities needed. Easy walk to a beautiful beach and the community pool with cafe and bar felt like we were staying at a resort.

Great location, great place, for a reasonable price

House is located in a second row from the beach with a wooden ramp through a nice garden. Really liked the layout. There were few issues when we checked in that were resolved promptly.

Nice home. Worth the price of admission

The home was nice. The proximity to the beach was great! Just a short walk down the 'boardwalk' (157 paces according to my 9 year old) The home was clean. It showed some signs of its age and surely wasn't newly built/renovated, but served us well for what we needed. And thankfully the pics online showed the house accurately. Overall, we were very happy with our stay!

When does the community pool open/close?

The Village Beach Club community pool is seasonal, open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Spring and Fall hours will vary and can be weather-dependent. For a detailed schedule contact the Beach Club at 252-480-2222

Is the beach access a "public" access or just for the area?

The beach access is for public use, however, it is almost exclusively used by the guests in this neighborhood.
