NH455 Turning Tide

I can’t say enough about this house! Beautiful accommodations, comfortable bedrooms and communal spaces. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever had in a beach house.(We’re chefs by trade so, we truly appreciate this) We had five couples at the house this week and we throughly enjoyed every bit of the property. The yard is perfect for bocce ball. The hot tub and pool area are so nice for relaxing! The pool table got used every night. The decks, porches and pool area are furnished with very nice, resin Adirondack chairs. Really, really beautiful space. We were happy to be outside or stuck inside if it was too windy to fish or swim. Thank you and we hope to stay with you all again soon. Coastal Carolina was a pleasure to rent from. We appreciate all the great communication before and during our visit.

This was our first time staying at Turning Tide, but definitely won't be our last. This house was amazing for our first annual cousin crew trip. We had children, adult children and grandparents. It was spacious and the decor was beautiful. We all had our own space and it was great not having to share bathrooms. Each level offered a relaxing area to sit, play games and/or watch TV. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the views from all decks. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Great location! It was wonderful having a TV in each bedroom. We spent so much time in the pool and even enjoyed the hot tub. It was clean which is a top priority for us! This was also our first time renting with Coastal Carolina and that experience was great too. Thank you for sharing this lovely home with us. We look forward to staying again.

We had a wonderful time! Everything was perfect and we are already looking forward to returning to this beautiful home. Our only suggestion would be to have a shaded covered area by the pool. Maybe an umbrella on the table. There were no chairs on the side where the hot tub was and the table area got really hot early in the day. If there was a shaded covered area it would be great. House was clean which is priority. We all had space. We loved the decks. We also enjoyed having our own bathrooms. Rooms were spacious. Well stocked kitchen. Absolutely one of the best houses we’ve rented. Our first rental with Coastal Carolina OBX but definitely not our last.

Wonderful stay! When we had an issue finding the cutoff for the outdoor shower, the maintenance guy showed very quickly, the pool guy on Wednesday was very friendly, the booking process was simple, the check in, check out, and rule reviews were simple and easy to do. The home was clean and nicely outfitted. We appreciated that the kitchen had tons of pots and pans, a professional coffee maker, deep fryer, griddle, egg cookers, and all things needed for baking or cooking whatever we wanted. Only two recommendations, it would be nice to have the grilling area on concrete since the bugs were bad in the grass and maybe upgrade to a gas grill. We also noticed that the ocean side second floor onsuite bathroom fan might need replacing or fixing as it made quite a racket. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would certainly consider a future stay with coastal Carolina and maybe even at Turning Tide again!

Our family with 3 adult kids and friends spent a fantastic week in mid-May in this beautiful home.  So many plusses to describe.  Let's start with the beach access -- just a quick walk down a boardwalk path to a very quiet part of the Nags Head beach -- adjacent to mainly private homes only.  Beach is just beautiful -- swimming was cool given it was May, but still inviting.  The house has beach chairs -- bring your own umbrellas if you want.  The house has an amazing kitchen -- stocked with enough tools for the most gourmet of cooks.  Top quality cookware, utensils, and dishes. Appliances are all new and large, with extra frig on the first floor for drinks (we didn't even need that).  The 6 bedrooms and baths meant everyone had lots of space, and super comfortable beds.  The hottub was definitely hot!  And, a dip in the pool afterwards was refreshing too.  Pool table was a hit. The top floor living area was large and space for our gang to gather -- some took off for morning runs.  Others went to the local fish market to buy off the boat.  All in all, highly recommend this house -- great value, and space for a Nags Head gathering.  We so enjoyed just hanging out, that didn't really even go out to explore the area much. Stay here!

We were a group of 11, with ages ranging from 18 to 77, and this was the perfect house at the perfect location. The only real issue is the fact that there were WAY too many trips to Booty Treats (which was right next door). The starter amenities which were provided helped us settle in immediately and not have to worry about heading immediately to the store, the house was spotless, the fridge had a separate drawer to keep beverages nice and cold and there was nothing we needed that wasn't at our fingertips.

We loved our stay at Turning Tide! Plenty of space, very clean, pool to enjoy in the backyard, beach access just across the street, and delicious ice cream right next door. Plenty of ocean and sound views from top decks - beautiful way to watch the sunrise and sunset. Coastal was very professional, kind, and organized- we will be renting from them again and can’t wait to stay at Turning Tide next year!

Perfect location- beach steps away and delicious ice cream next-door. You can see the sound and the ocean. Lots of room for everybody. We loved the pool and the hot tub. Can’t wait to come back!

This property is amazing. The location is a very short distance to the beach. When we arrived, the door code did not work and Coastal Carolina managing group remoted in and reset the code and we were immediately able to access the property. Had one day when AC was not working on the third floor and once again they responded immediately and fixed the problem. House is fully stocked. Beds very comfy. Private pool, hot tub and pool table very much appreciated. Kitchen fully stocked. Sheets, towels and wash cloths provided. Laundry on entry level which was awesome. If I had one slightly negative, it would be that there is a good bit of traffic on the road in front of the house and you can hear the traffic from the main road, but that did not have a negative impact on our stay. Our first trip to the Outer Banks was a success due to staying on this property.

We have stayed at many properties throughout the OBX and this was one of our favorites. The location is fantastic - close to everything. We had 3 families and the house was big enough for all of us to have our own space and have everyone sit in the common areas together. We loved the pool table and the big backyard - which is rare to find a property with that size of a yard. The mgmt company was great - very prompt with responses and made the check-in / check-out process very easy. We would definitely stay here again
