It's time to unwind at Saltwater Solace, a charming five-bedroom property nestled in the heart of Old Nags Head Place, offering the perfect Outer Banks vacation escape for you and your family! Designed with a coastal touch, this home features a private heated pool (pool heat can be added for an additional fee), hot tub, and is just a short stroll from the beach, thanks to the convenient neighborhood walkway that leads directly to the beach access.

Located in a peaceful neighborhood, Saltwater Solace offers a true home-away-from-home experience. The fully-equipped kitchen makes meal preparation a breeze, while the cozy living area is perfect for watching the big game or curling up on the couch for a movie night. With five bedrooms—four of which are master suites—everyone can enjoy their own private space during the trip.
The gas grill by the pool allows the grill master to cook up delicious meals while the family gathers nearby. For endless fun, the spacious rec room is equipped with a full-size pool table, two TVs, and a full-size refrigerator, ensuring drinks and snacks are always within reach as you relax by the pool.

Beach Access: Just a quick walk from the home!  Head north on S. Memorial Avenue until you reach Curlew Street.  Head East and use the pedestrian cross walk to safely cross Virginia Dare Trail.  Curlew public beach access offers a paved parking lot for those who choose to drive as well as a wooden walkway.

Exploring Nags Head: Old Nags Head Place is an ideal location for walking or biking along peaceful streets, and is close to family-friendly attractions, shopping, and marinas on the Outer Banks.  Located near the scenic Jockey’s Ridge State Park, this property offers adventure and fantastic views of the ocean and sound.

We stayed at Saltwater Solace. Coastal Carolina Vacations was great to work with. Bathroom linens come packaged individually and bed linens are provided also which was great. The maintenance people were fast and I would highly recommend them. The house has wonderful amenities and the kitchen was even better stocked than advertised to include every dish, glass, etc. you can think of. The 5 bed/5.5 bath, pool, hot tub, 7 minute walk to the beach and multiple decks were just what our group needed. The home is clearly well loved and the downstairs game room is a bit small with the pool table in there. My only recommendation is regarding the 1st floor bed/bath and the need to check if there might be some water damage. There was a strong smell of bleach and the shower floor was a bit squishy.

Great house for the family. Our third year there. Had a wonderful time. Only problem was that the a/c was apparently set to automatically raise to 75the afternoon BEFORE we left. Everyone was too warm throughout the night.

The house and the amenities were exactly as listed, the communication with the host was amazing and if we had any issues they responded promptly. It was a 7 minute walk to the beach which was lovely.
