Sunset Beach House: Oceanfront home with amazing ocean views, private heated pool, hot tub, pool table & elevator!

Your three favorite words should be Sunset Beach House! This beautiful home by the sea is the perfect spacious retreat for large groups, featuring extensive indoor and outdoor amenities. The private beach walkway with dune top deck leads you from your private pool area to the beautiful Nags Head beaches where you can spend the day relaxing in the pool (pool heat can be added for an additional fee) day or night. Ocean views can be enjoyed from the mid and top-level decks where you can enjoy your morning coffee while watching the amazing sunrises over the Atlantic. For evening and rainy day entertainment, gather in the rec room or theater room. The spacious great room with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area provides the chefs in the group with all the equipment they need to make some of their favorite meals. Everyone will be sure to enjoy ending their day relaxing in one of the eight en-suite bedrooms. Take advantage of the elevator so groceries and luggage will be easy to bring in. 

Located in Nags Head where you have quick access to grocery stores, local fine and casual dining options, fishing piers, historical sites, and other local shops and entertainment.

Awesome OBX house
This was our 4th year renting this oceanfront home. Plenty of room for our family and friends that come to OBX with us -- kids have their own sleeping rooms and all the adults have king size beds and a private bathroom. Elevator comes in handy for all the groceries going up to the 3rd floor. A new music system was added for the outdoor pool area this year and we really enjoyed it.

Beautiful weather for the most part and beautiful house! Coastal Carolina makes it a very enjoyable experience! Shout out to Amanda and Hillary who are a big reason it's an enjoyable, hassle free experience. Both were very attentive through the entire rental process and our stay.

Family Vacation
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful with a great view of the ocean. The cabana with chairs on the beach was awesome. The elevator was essential for the older members. Overall, it was Fantastic!!

Great House
House was so nice ! Great location. Easy beach access and the pool was wonderful. Living area large to have a big family or lots of friends. Large dining table ! Bedrooms were so nice, 6 King , bunkbed room, and twin beds. Good variety for all. Elevator a plus ! Had a great time !

Amazing House
Wow! We have rented a lot of beach houses around the US and this one was by far our favorite. So much space, unbelievable kitchen and comfy beds. The views were amazing. The only thing we found ourselves wanting for were more pool chairs. There were only four and in a house this size, I would expect double that. Elevator was very convenient for luggage and groceries. We will surely return!

Unbeatable ocean views and great location!
This home boasts of amenities. From the heated pool and spa, covered back patio with stunning ocean views, to steps from Booty Treats ice cream. The elevator is very helpful with groceries and our older guests. All of the beds are comfortable and the kids love the game room. We have loved our stays at this home and plan to return this year!

All of the amenities
Our family has stayed at this beach house multiple times already. The location is unbeatable and the views are stunning. The bedrooms are large and clean. The sectional is so comfortable and the rooms are decorated very stylish.

Gorgeous home. Our group has stayed in many beach homes over the years and this was our favorite. Modern. Well built. Close to so many great restaurants. Great treatment by hosts. Hope to go back next year.

Slowly Degrading
We have rented this house for 3 years (maybe 4, trying to remember) and we have noticed a slow decline with the quality of the house. After last season, I commented on a number of improvements that would be beneficial to those spending lots of money for the chance to vacation at a large, oceanfront house. Coastal Carolina had assumed management responsibility after we had reserved the house for last year's vacation season. CCV noted that since they had just taken over management of the house, they hadn't had the chance to work on improvements and planned for that during the off season. Fair!! We were disappointed. Much was the same or worse. The cleaning crew did an average job (at best). More things were degraded. Some door locks (to bedrooms) didn't work. There's some "mold" on some bathroom ceilings, no towel rack in the main floor bathroom (although the brackets for the rack were there), insufficient lighting on the main floor common room and bathroom, a paper clip serving as the latch on the top of the one closet door, a sliding door lock to the 2nd level deck did not work, and more. Unfortunately, it isn't the shining star it once was. And it is in such a great location!! Again, it's a lot of money for our mixed generation group. We still had a great time but sadly, next year will have to be in another home.

In your review from last year, you mentioned issues with the water heater, dryer, and wifi, all of which have been either purchased new this year or updated. In addition, interior paint and other projects took place during the off season. As you can imagine, homes of this size will always have an ongoing list and we all try to prioritize items that would be the most impactful to a guests overall enjoyment of the home. We will continue to work diligently to keep the home up as will the owners and appreciate the continued feedback.

Great Rental!
Our family of 14 had a fantastic time at this rental property. The house was clean, spacious and accommodating for our large group. You can’t beat the location-especially as a family with small children. The property amenities were also conducive to family fun! The pac-man machine was a huge hit! And during a rainy day, the movie theater came in quite handy! We had minor issues arise during our stay but CCV was beyond responsive and helpful when needed. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and the service from CCV. We will definitely be back!

Loved it!!!
We loved this property. We have stayed in so many homes in the past in different areas to include HHI. This was by far the best property. It was clean, spacious, and the location to the beach and restaurants was very convenient. It was beautifully decorated and family friendly with fun things to do for all ages. We had a few small issues that came up, and the rental company was more responsive than I have ever experienced in the past with other properties. We would love to return to this property. Thank you!

Yes but. . .
We have been vacationing at the OBX for many, many years. This was our 3rd stay at this home and while there are many things to love about it, there are some things that should be addressed (and one that will be). I should note that Coastal Carolina assumed management responsibility after we had already reserved the home and for the issues we encountered, they were quick to respond. So they are catching up with the upkeep or upgrades. We had clothes dryer, water heater, WiFi, outlet (second level) issues, one of two dishwashers fail, inoperable doorbell and lighting issues. The lighting setup in the main room adjacent to the dining table is insufficient and always has been. Again, I need to stress Coastal was quick to respond to the issues that could quickly be resolved. While we are returning to the home next year, there is a sense of degradation for this beautiful home that is in the perfect location. While I highlight the growing number of concerns, the whopping price increase for next year should ensure there are no issues. It already was costly but the price jumped by almost 25% and that demands excellence. It is my hope it is what we'll discover in 2023.

Perfect property, perfect vacation!
Our family of 17 was blown away by this property — the location was perfect, and the house was immaculate and filled with fun activities!!! A few very small items came up during our stay, and the rental company was incredibly responsive and ensured our stay exceeded all of our expectations. I particularly loved how all of the king bedrooms were comparable — this greatly eased the room selection process. Thanks so much for an incredible vacation!

Wonderful Vacation with our family
