DE08 Shore Beats Work

We gathered our extended family of several generations for a vacation together. The property was beyond our expectations. The first impression was of an ample parking courtyard, a stately four story home with porches. Inside we found nine ample bedrooms with several master suites. Two kitchens on different floors and dining options that welcomed our twenty-two guests. A game room and comfortable gathering spaces gave us room to entertain the seniors, adults, and children. On the ocean side we enjoyed porches on every floor overlooking the pool, gazebo, and boardwalk to access the beach. The house exceeded everything we’d hoped for and contributed to a highly successful and unforgettable family reunion.

Shore Beats Work was our location for friends to catch up. The house is large and had plenty of room for everyone. I enjoyed the outdoor area overlooking the beach and pool. Perfect for a relaxing week. There was also lots of deck space. The kitchen is large and can accommodate large breakfast gatherings. The evening dinners always included something on the Bar B Que. Shore Beats Work will be our choice for the next visit.

The house was so perfect. The house is spacious and beautiful. The kitchen was so well equipped which was great for group cooking. The hot tub, sauna, and the fireplaces kept us warm in the cold weather. It was great to be able to walk on the beach. I love the beach in the winter. We explored all over the island. Good restaurants near by.

We had an absolutely incredible stay! It was the perfect backdrop for our retreat. Being just steps away from the beach made our daily walks extra nice. The house was clean, bright, and airy. The open-concept living area was ideal for our gathering. It was also close to so many things in Nags Head, which made it easy to adventure out.

This home is my home away from home. My family and I have been renting this house for the past few years and as soon as we walk in the door, there is an immediate feeling of being at home. The home is beautifully decorated but also very comfortable. There are 3 different levels so it's perfect for larger families or just to spread out. The kitchen has 2 dishwashers and 2 ovens, which is nice if you choose to eat in. There is also a mini fridge on the middle level which is good for pool/beach drinks as well another full size fridge in the basement level. There is a grocery store super close by as well as a lot of good restaurants. I love enjoying my morning coffee on the top deck looking at the ocean, relaxing by the pool, walking along the beach (house has direct beach access) and late afternoon cocktails in the hot tub. Our stay at “Shore Beats Work” was absolutely exceptional and easily one of the best beach vacations our family has ever had. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this home was thoughtfully designed to give guests the perfect coastal experience. The house itself is beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail has been carefully considered—from the stylish beach décor to the well-equipped kitchen and spacious living areas that made it easy for everyone to relax and spend time together. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the layout provided plenty of space for both gathering and privacy. The location truly couldn’t be better. Being so close to the beach meant we could enjoy sunrise walks, long afternoons by the water, and stunning evening sunsets without any hassle. The outdoor spaces were just as enjoyable as the inside of the home—perfect for morning coffee, evening drinks, and simply soaking in the ocean air. Everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay was already there, which made the entire trip effortless. We stayed for a family vacation! We had so much fun, the rooms are plenty to choose from. The beach access and pool are amazing given you don’t need to haul anything and walk much. It’s easily located near shops and restaurants but with the fully equipped kitchen you need nothing more for a stress free days off.

This house is perfect for a family getaway or a reunion with friends! We had an amazing week with a group of friends in the summer of 2023. The peaceful setting was just what we needed to unwind and enjoy each other’s company. As we like to say in Virginia Beach, the house is “on the sand,” which means we could easily walk to the beach and explore for miles, soaking in the ocean sounds and waves. There’s plenty of room for a big group or family, and the different levels offer lots of privacy for everyone. Plus, the kitchen is huge, perfect for cooking for a crowd, and the grill is great for barbecues. But we also loved exploring the local restaurants and shops. There’s even a biking shop with all sorts of gear for outdoor fun. I can’t recommend this house enough for a fantastic summer vacation with a large group or family. In fact, my wife and I booked it for our 50th wedding anniversary this summer, and we’re bringing a big family along!

We stayed at this beautiful home for a friends’ reunion, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The location is fantastic—peaceful, with gorgeous views, yet still conveniently close to everything we needed. One of my favorite moments of the trip was sipping coffee on the deck at sunrise, enjoying the view and catching up with old friends. It was truly a special stay. The house is spacious, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything we need, it’s always clean. Our biggest decision is beach or pool? You won’t regret coming here and will want to return!!
