The Misfits Bars of Christmas Crawl is bringing seasonal fun and holiday cheer to the Outer Banks. 15 of the area's favorite restaurants are going all out with dazzling Christmas decorations, special holiday menus, and signature drinks. You're invited to experience the magic of the season and discover why the Outer Banks should be a top holiday destination!
Come spread the holiday cheer with Kitty Hawk Kites and a kite light show on Jockey’s Ridge!
Be sure to make it out on Saturday, November 30th from 4 – 7 PM for a light display like no other. Kites with Lights, at Jockey’s Ridge State Park, features large 19-to-30-foot kites decked out in the spirit of the holiday season! At 5 PM, enjoy the lighting of the Jockey’s Ridge State Park Solar Christmas tree out on the dunes directly across from Jockey’s Ridge Crossing. Warm beverages and baked goods are available across the street at Jockey’s Ridge Crossing. All donations benefit the Friends of Jockey’s Ridge.

Experience the magic of the holidays at the 4th Annual Corolla Christmas Village! Historic Corolla Village comes alive with twinkling lights, festive music, and the warmth of holiday cheer. Each weekend brings something new—whether it’s visits from Santa, live music filling the crisp evening air, or a delicious treat from the food trucks and The Kind Cup coffee shop. Stroll through the sparkling village and shop unique local finds from Corolla Village merchants. This free, family-friendly event is the perfect way to celebrate the season, with something for everyone to enjoy.

Whalehead Club Candlelight Christmas Tour
Location: Whalehead Club, Corolla
Starts: 5:30 pm
Ends: 6:30 pm
Step back in time to the 1920’s décor and customs taking place during Mr. and Mrs.Edward Collings Knight, Jr.’s time in Corolla. The Whalehead mansion is beautifully decorated in the tradition of the times with greenery, Christmas trees, music, luscious food, fruit, candy and nuts. This special tour will feature a live performance on the original one-of-a-kind Steinway piano – custom designed for Mrs. Knight – along with a few traditional Christmas carols. Tour participants will explore this magnificent mansion including the newly designed Starkey room exhibit. Guests will also enjoy a holiday treat at the conclusion of the tour.
Whalehead Candelight Christmas Tours
Times: 5:30pm-6:30pm
Dates: Every Friday and Saturday from Thanksgiving to Christmas. (11/28, 11/29, 12/5, 12/6, 12/12, 12/13, 12/19, 12/20)
Cost: $20 per person. Nonrefundable. Reservations are required.
