41st Pirate's Cove Billfish Tournament

Location: Pirate's Cove Marina

First-class fishing in a storied setting—welcome to Pirate’s Cove. The 43rd annual tournament awaits, promising elite competition and high-stakes offshore action in a truly memorable setting.

Join us for a week where maritime history meets the thrill of the chase, whether you're chasing the leaderboard or soaking up the legendary dockside atmosphere.

Butterfly Release

Location: Elizabethan Gardens 1411 National Park Dr. Manteo, NC 27954
Starts: 10am

10am and 2pm. Discover butterflies up-close as they take their first flight! Our staff will educate about butterflies and what plants attract them to your garden. Total price is $16.00 plus admission for non-members ($16 for members), this includes general admission, program and butterfly. Tickets may be purchased online. There may be a limited number of tickets available for same-day purchases. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your release time as you will need to check-in and walk to the Butterfly Garden.

Greater Tuna - Theatre of Dare

Ends: 9pm

August 5, 6, 12 & 13 at 7:30 p.m.
