This charming 4-bedroom house is perfect for families, couples, and friends seeking a little escape. What a wonderful short stay we had this fall at Moonshadow. We liked it so much we added an extra day! The house had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to eat meals in the kitchen, dining room and on the decks. The best part, we were steps from the beach and had a hot tub waiting when we came back. Thank you Coastal Carolina Vacations for your excellent customer service. You were courteous and answered all our questions before arriving and while we enjoyed Moonshadow.

We so enjoyed discovering the Outer Banks and the surrounding areas. The house was comfortable and spacious. When needed, the management team responded quickly, which we appreciated greatly. We would definitely book in the area again.

Second Year in "Moonshadow"
This has been our second year renting "Moonshadow". This year through Coastal Carolina who have been really great to deal with. We've noticed some changes over the last year, specifically the refinished floors (beautiful!), the recovered upholstery fabric (also gorgeous) and the new cooktop/stove which was cracked last year. This was our first time to the OBX for the 4th of July in decades, we could see the tops of the fireworks set off from The Nags Head Fishing Pier, but otherwise 4 or 5 neighbors were setting off big fireworks on the beach. We enjoyed walks on the beach, watching the pelicans and saw a few dolphin as well. All in all, a great vacation and we're looking forward to returning next year!

Beautiful, Peacful and Amazing!
If you’re looking for the perfect getaway, look no further! Moonshadow is the perfect destination! It is located in South Nags Head and provides a beautiful Ocean front veiw. From the moment you walk in the doors, there was a tranquil atmosphere. Moonshadow provided a clean and comfortable space! I highly recommend staying here on your next vacation! This was my first time renting this beautiful home, and it did not disappoint! I was thankful to have a girls trip and escape reality for just a little while, but was given so much more! Each morning I was greeted with a beautiful sunrise because no matter where you stood in the house there was access to an outside view. One of my favorite places to be in Moonshadow was on the balcony. I loved listening to the waves crashing on the shore line-it was a peaceful experiance. It was also the perfect spot to star gaze at night. There is nothing like gazing into the sky while near the ocean! Moonshadow was a luxurious place to stay with a large kitchen and so many seating options perfect for meals and entertainment. It provided all the amenities one could need, want or ask for. Staying here was truly a home away from home experience! It was a bonus being able to do laundry before leaving. This simple amenity allowed me one less thing to worry about when I got home. I had a wonderful Girls trip and Moonshadow made it memorable and definitely one for the books! Moonshadow has left me with memories of laughter and good times. Thankful for this experience and hope to make it back to this location again!

Perfect location, gorgeous home
Our family loved our stay at Moonshadow. The private walkway to the beach made it easy to go back and forth to the beach as often as we wanted. The views are amazing. I want d to stay forever. A gem of a property
Our family stayed at this property for many years until we out-grew it with the birth of grandkids. It's a total gem in South Nags Head - where there's something for everyone. You won't be disappointed - the views both East for sunrises and West for sunsets is unsurpassed. The great room is big enough for everyone to gather, yet the bedrooms are comfy when you want to have time to yourself. Stay here!
