Thank you so much for opening this home to rent — our stay was truly wonderful! We’re a growing little family with three boys and a baby girl due in October, and getting the chance to step away from the daily grind was exactly what Sunset Point gave us. From the stunning views to the spacious layout, it was the perfect escape! This was only our second visit to OBX, but it’s quickly becoming a tradition for us. The home itself is everything you could want and more — a gorgeous living room, kitchen, sunroom, and deck with breathtaking views of the sound; a thoughtfully designed kitchen; comfortable, well-arranged bedrooms; two refrigerators (huge bonus!); and a roomy backyard that leads to the unforgettable covered dock. Absolutely wonderful! We brought along our 24' pontoon and had no trouble accessing the slip (special thanks to Lacey, who was so sweet and helpful). Tying off at the dock was easy, and the memories we made there were priceless — from the boys catching crabs and discovering moon jellies, to enjoying the friendliness of passing boaters and the welcoming neighborhood vibe. With so many positives, it’s hard to find negatives, but a few things stood out. The broken cargo lift at the main entrance was a bit of a letdown — though not a dealbreaker, since we’re used to hauling our own gear. The kitchen was well-equipped (we loved having gas for our cast iron cooking!), but labeled light switches would have been helpful. The dock, while beautiful, lacked electricity, water, and dock cleats — all of which would have been nice to have. The hose bib under the house worked but was heavily corroded, and the hose itself was in rough shape, being covered with mold. The grill technically worked, but missing and/or broken heat shields and worn grates made it a challenge. Lastly, the kitchen window leak (noted during our stay) was quickly addressed by a very kind young man without too much delay to our planned day, which we appreciated. All in all, Sunset Point delivered exactly what we hoped for — a relaxing, memory-making getaway in a beautiful home. With a few small fixes, it would be absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to return and continue making this a family tradition!

Had a wonderful stay in Nags Head. The house was comfortable, light-filled and clean. Location was perfect - right below Jockey's Ridge State Park and right above hospital and shopping. We used the community pool one day and that was clean. It is an extra fee as disclosed in the listing. Enjoyed sitting outside on the deck in the morning with my coffee and in the evening to watch the sun set. Best part of house was the dock outside the kids used for fishing. There is no water access from the property or dock, had to go to the beach by the state park to access the sound for swimming.

Amazing house very comforting and homey. The view from the back deck and dock is incredible I loved watching all the boats go out in the morning. In a great neighborhood conveniently located near great beach access spots and lots of good restaurants and bars. So close to the putlet stores as well! I will definitely be coming back!

We had a great stay at this Outer Banks rental! The house was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The property manager was responsive and communicated clearly before and during our stay. Some starter supplies were provided, but future guests should plan to bring or buy essentials like paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and detergent if planning to be there a week or more. Overall, a very positive experience and we’d happily return.

Eveything was wonderful. Very clean. Awesome location. One suggestion would be to label all the light switches. Had trouble getting dishwasher to work. Took some time and not sure what we did to get it working. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time at the rental. It was super clean, especially for being all white furniture May just rank as cleanest rental we have rented. Location was superb. In cul De sac with privacy from neighbors. Location was close to eateries and shopping. Only issue we had was getting dishwasher to start but figured it out eventually. Need additional lighting above breakfast nook and maybe light switches labeled but that isn't something that would make us not rent again.
