NH387D Cape Lookout Cottage

House was exactly as described. Communication was spot on. Only issue is someone who stayed prior smoked in the property. As a non smoker, the cigarette smell lingers. Other than that, awesome property.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cape Lookout cottage! The house was spacious and well appointed for our family vacation. The location was great - a short walk to the beach and close to shops, cafes, and restaurants (right across the street from the Blue Moon Beach Grill). We enjoyed the shared pool, private hot tub, morning coffees on the deck and loved that it was dog friendly! We’ll definitely be back!

We had a nice time; location was close to everything and a short walk to the beach; liked the pool and hot tub amenities but the pool was a little cold; there were a few misses by housekeeping but nothing significant; overall the place was well maintained and great for a group of 8.

The cottage was beautifully done and the quality of materials was excellent! We loved the quiet little complex of cottages and the location was close to so much of what we did - and the Blue Moon Grill right next door was awesome! Loved that dogs are allowed, all rooms had king-sized beds, there was cable tv, and we were even given a turkey roasting pan for our stay over Thanksgiving - what a thoughtful idea! Loved that the towels came sealed in a bag from the linen company so you know they're clean - don't get that in an air bnb! Overall we were very happy with our stay here and didn't want to leave!

So lucky to have found this on a spur of the moment trip to Nags Head. Property was clean, nice and close to the beach. Love it’s location - away from the crowds but still close to everything.

The house was spotless! My family had a wonderful visit. The kitchen had all the amenities needed to make meals, the pool was perfect for the kids, and the beach is a short walk away. Highly recommend!

Our three-generation family stayed here and the house was perfect for us to enjoy time together. The primary suite was conveniently on the first floor with the rest of the rooms upstairs. One of the upstairs rooms had enough extra space for the pack n play but we actually put it in the huge closet (that had an a/c vent!) for the 2.5 year old. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook as if we were at home. The only amenity we didn’t use was the hot tub, but that was because it was hot! The walk to the beach was a little long, but we were towing quite a bit of gear each time. We had a great time and made great memories after not seeing the rest of our family since 2019. Hopefully we will return.

Our family stayed at Haven on the Banks (#4) for four days and absolutely loved our stay. The check-in process was simple, and Tara checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking. She was always just a text or phone call away, even though we already didn’t need anything because everything was already thought of and set up. Cape Lookout, where we stayed, is a beautiful setup, and we enjoyed spending time on the deck each night, enjoying the OBX weather. It’s a short walk to a public access beach point, when we were done with the beach, we could use the property’s pool. It was a great trip!

We came to nags head for a wedding. This house was the perfect location. Close to the beach, stores and restaurants. The house was amazing. Definitely would rent this house again.

The property and amenities were stunning! Cleanliness (especially during this crazy time of Corona virus) was very important to us. The house was immaculate and everything was new. Loved the modern decor of the home and coziness of it. The house hot tub and outdoor shower were a great bonus! The kids loved the tiki toss on the garage too! We will be back! This was our first time to Outer Banks. Our family of 5 loved this property as well as the OBX. The property was excellent. Very clean and everything worked like it should. The beds were extremely comfortable as were the pillows. Great location as well. Short walk to beach ansd short drive to everything you want to see in OBX. Tara was a pleasure to deal with. Very quick response time and pleasant! Will rent again!

Meeting Tara the first day left us with an amazing first impression. She was so helpful and even took time to give us assistance with renting chairs/umbrellas.
