Welcome to Cape Lookout Cottage, a delightful 4 bedroom, 3 bath vacation home located in the heart of Nags Head. This pet-friendly property offers a perfect blend of comfort and convenience, ensuring a memorable stay for you and your family. 

As you step into Cape Lookout Cottage, you will immediately feel at home in the inviting and spacious living area. The open floor plan allows for easy interaction and relaxation, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The living room features comfortable seating, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the beautiful Outer Banks. One of the many highlights of Cape Lookout Cottage is the private hot tub, where you can unwind and soak in the soothing bubbles while enjoying the ocean breeze. Additionally, guests have access to a community pool, perfect for swimming and lounging under the warm sun. 

The fully equipped kitchen is a chef's dream, offering all the modern appliances and utensils needed to prepare delicious meals. Whether you prefer cooking a hearty breakfast or a gourmet dinner, this kitchen has everything you need. Enjoy your meals at the dining table, or take advantage of the outdoor picnic table for an al fresco dining experience.  The home is arranged with four well-appointed bedrooms, ensuring a restful night's sleep for all guests. The master bedroom features a comfortable king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom, providing a private oasis for relaxation. The additional bedrooms also have king beds, allowing for plenty of space and room to relax while on vacation.

Exploring the Outer Banks: Cape Lookout Cottage is conveniently located near plenty of shopping and dining options to provide you and your guests with the full OBX Experience.  Take a trip south of Nags Head and visit some of the many Lighthouses in the area, or take the ferry down to Ocracoke, to enjoy beach life at a slower pace. 

Beach Access: Just a quick drive or short walk from the house! Head south on Virginia Dare Trail until you reach East Dowitcher where you can park and safely cross Virginia Dare Trail at a Pedestrian crosswalk. Beach access is located at E. Small Street, which is just a few houses north.

Haven on the Banks is a total of six rental homes located in the heart of Nags Head. Each home has 4-bedrooms with access to the community's pool and easy beach access. Reserve one or even all six units (totaling 24 bedrooms!) for your next Outer Banks Vacation!

Truly a Haven

Wonderful little gem in Nags Head
So lucky to have found this on a spur of the moment trip to Nags Head. Property was clean, nice and close to the beach. Love it’s location - away from the crowds but still close to everything.

Wonderful stay!
The house was spotless! My family had a wonderful visit. The kitchen had all the amenities needed to make meals, the pool was perfect for the kids, and the beach is a short walk away. Highly recommend!

Perfect for a family
Our three-generation family stayed here and the house was perfect for us to enjoy time together. The primary suite was conveniently on the first floor with the rest of the rooms upstairs. One of the upstairs rooms had enough extra space for the pack n play but we actually put it in the huge closet (that had an a/c vent!) for the 2.5 year old. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook as if we were at home. The only amenity we didn’t use was the hot tub, but that was because it was hot! The walk to the beach was a little long, but we were towing quite a bit of gear each time. We had a great time and made great memories after not seeing the rest of our family since 2019. Hopefully we will return.

Excellent Getaway
Our family stayed at Haven on the Banks (#4) for four days and absolutely loved our stay. The check-in process was simple, and Tara checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking. She was always just a text or phone call away, even though we already didn’t need anything because everything was already thought of and set up. Cape Lookout, where we stayed, is a beautiful setup, and we enjoyed spending time on the deck each night, enjoying the OBX weather. It’s a short walk to a public access beach point, when we were done with the beach, we could use the property’s pool. It was a great trip!

Perfect home
We came to nags head for a wedding. This house was the perfect location. Close to the beach, stores and restaurants. The house was amazing. Definitely would rent this house again.

Just what we needed!
The property and amenities were stunning! Cleanliness (especially during this crazy time of Corona virus) was very important to us. The house was immaculate and everything was new. Loved the modern decor of the home and coziness of it. The house hot tub and outdoor shower were a great bonus! The kids loved the tiki toss on the garage too! We will be back! I have been coming to the Outer Banks for a decade and this is the best house I have ever stayed in. Immaculate, modern and above all else, thoughtful. I cannot say enough great things about Tara. We will definitely be back.

Friends Trip
This property was clean, new, conveniently located right across from the beach, and incredibly nice! Tara was available at any time to answer any questions we had, and it couldn’t have been easier to check in and enjoy the space. Would absolutely come back and stay at Haven on the Banks!

Excellent property and location
This was our first time to Outer Banks. Our family of 5 loved this property as well as the OBX. The property was excellent. Very clean and everything worked like it should. The beds were extremely comfortable as were the pillows. Great location as well. Short walk to beach ansd short drive to everything you want to see in OBX. Tara was a pleasure to deal with. Very quick response time and pleasant! Will rent again!

We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. I would highly recommend to others.
Meeting Tara the first day left us with an amazing first impression. She was so helpful and even took time to give us assistance with renting chairs/umbrellas. We had everything we needed in the cottage and really didn't have to leave at all. Extremly clean and well stocked! We loved our week at Haven, Cape Lookout:)
