McLovin: Dog-friendly, oceanside home in Kill Devil Hills with a private pool, hot tub, cornhole court, and is just a short walk to the beach!

McLovin is a beautifully furnished, dog-friendly, well-equipped home that sits on the third lot back from the ocean and is just a short walk from the 8th Street beach access. Perfectly situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, and just around the corner from dining, shopping, and the charming Gallery Row district.

McLovin has so much to offer with a fenced-in rear yard with your own private pool, poolside hot tub, enclosed outdoor shower, and a cornhole court. The lower level has a game room with a pool table and a wet bar with a mini-fridge. There are three bedrooms on the mid-level, a king bedroom with a private bath and direct access to the mid-level deck, and another king bedroom that shares a bathroom with the pyramid bunk bed/twin bedroom. Top-level offers a king bedroom with a private bath, open concept great room, kitchen and dining, and an ocean-side screened porch and sun deck. The lower level has a covered carport and park grill.

Centrally located in Kill Devil Hills: McLovin is close to the Harris Teeter grocery store, local restaurants, great local shops, and many outdoor attractions that you will want to be sure you plan to visit.

Beach Access: Near 8th Street Beach Access- Located at a pedestrian cross walk, you can safely cross Virginia Dare Trail.  Beach Access has paved parking, outdoor showers and a lifeguard (in-season).

Wonderful house!
Mclovin is a wonderful house so clean unusual for a pet friendly home. We stay there every year. Coastal Carolina Realty is the best they are so nice and accommodating so different from the other Realty place that we have use for many years!

Fantastic Trip!
We stayed at McLovin for the first time(3rd time in OBX) and really enjoyed the house, property and location. The house is a short walk to the beach and close to all of the stores and restaurants. It’s the perfect location. The house was as advertised. It was very clean, spacious and had a great back yard. We spent a lot of time in the pool, hot tub and playing cornhole. Highly recommend this property!

Great Location/Pet friendly home
First time vacationing with a pet but this property made it a great experience. Excellent location on a quiet, dead end street and although it is situated between two very busy roads the traffic noise is all but non-existent. We felt the grill in the front of the house and lack of a dining area by the pool were a bit inconvenient. Overall, very satisfied with the property. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Always a great week at McLovin!
We love this house and have rented it for about 4 years now and already booked again for next year! Every year the owners do something new to the house to make it even better which we appreciate and notice. The outdoor area is perfect for our family and dog. We had two lawn chairs crack by the pool and we contacted Coastal Carolina not expecting them to be replaced within hours, that was awesome. Since the pool chairs broke simply by an average adult male just sitting on them, our only suggestion would be to possibly update with more durable (and comfortable) pool furniture. We are counting down the weeks until next year!

Great Week with Family in a Great House!
First time we did a family trip and it was amazing. A block from the beach, a pool and jacuzzi, game room and tons of space for everyone including the 2 dogs. Realtor was great and everything was what we expected. Great rental and the house was immaculate with a kitchen with all the cooking utensils for breakfast and lunch. We rented beach chairs and bicycles upon our arrival for the week; they deliver and pickup according to your schedule. Austin was a great contact person and he was spot on with everything! This is a great property with everything to make a great vacation!
