From the elevator to the well-stocked gourmet kitchen to the cinema-style theater room, every thoughtful detail has been thought of to make your vacation unforgettable. The open great room provides breathtaking views, a seasonal gas fireplace, a gourmet kitchen, and sun deck access, making it the perfect area to gather after long beach days.

The ground level provides popular amenities including a large recreation room with a pool table, kitchenette, and a private home theater with tiered seating. Sun lovers will embrace the outdoor area which includes a private pool (pool heat can be added for an additional fee), hot tub, tiki bar, and private beach access to the sandy beaches of the Atlantic.  Guests will love the beauty of our world-famous sunrises over the ocean from the plentiful east-facing decks. NCDOT operates three stormwater ocean outfalls in the Town of Kill Devil Hills. These stormwater outfalls were installed in the early 1960s. They allow rainwater to drain away from the lower areas between the highways of U.S. 158 and N.C. 12, which assists with flood prevention. (See photo gallery) The town recommends not swimming within 200 ft of this pipe.The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality regularly monitors the outfall sites and collects water samples to ensure there are no contaminants that would threaten human or marine life.

Best house for our Bachelorette getaway!
It was perfect for our group of 12 to each have own bedroom, spots to chill out, all amenities in the kitchen you could ever need. 3 fridges plus wine cooler and 2 ice machines! Beautiful place!

Perfect Location and View
House was in the perfect location! Amazing view and perfect for our team building/girls weekend! Enough beds and bathrooms for us all. Hot tub and heated pool was a plus. And the movie theater was an added bonus as well.

Liked the bar area in basement with extra refrigerator and ice machine! Loots of parking! Kitchen is large. The second dishwasher didn’t work. Costal Carolina employees were accommodating!

Great for group trip!
The house was exactly as pictured and described. Our group was 23 adults and we had plenty of space for everyone. The pool was large enough for all of us to be in and around at the same time. The stairs over the dune to the beach are slightly warn from the elements, but are well maintained and safe. The kitchen was stocked with enough dishes and utensils to get us through each day. All rooms were clean and look exactly like the pictures. The location in Kill Devil Hills is central to nearly all the restaurants, sights, and activities in the Outer Banks. Everything was within a 15 minute drive. We brought 7 cars and there was enough parking for at least 2 more with a different configuration. We will absolutely book this house again if we decided to take another large group trip to OBX!

OBX Family vacation
Large family gathering(24). Plenty of room,everyone was comfortable. Great location, plenty to do even when wheather was bad. We would definitely do this again. Thanks to everybody at Coastal Carolina.

The house was beautiful. The only problems were that a couple of the fridges and other appliances did not work. Other than that I can’t complain other than that. Just remember if you are staying here there is not anything really provided such as shampoos, soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.

Your feedback is valuable, and we have addressed this with our maintenance team and they have made sure everything is in working order for future guests. Regarding the amenities provided, we do provide a starter sets of toilet paper, soap, paper towels, dish detergent and trash can liners. Guests do have to bring or purchase anything beyond that for their stay. We appreciate your feedback and hope to host again in the future.

Amazing property
My family has been coming to the Outer Banks since my mother was a child. My husband and I, our kids and grandkids live in Florida and rest of our family in Virginia. We decided it was time for another family reunion, and added in my youngest daughter’s wedding. This house had everything we needed and plenty of room for my parents, my brothers, sister-in-laws , cousins and all the grandkids. We had spectacular sunrises and a beautiful sunset hour beach wedding. It was definitely a challenge getting up and down all the stairs to the beach, did help leaving all the chairs in the gazebo, my favorite spot were the chairs on the top deck , I loved sitting out there reading and watching the waves and dolphins. It is super convenient to shopping and restaurants and right next to our beloved Cavalier Motel that we’ve been going to since my mom was younger. Highly recommend this property!!!!

Wonderful Family Vacation
This house is great! And directly across the street from the best Pizza place (Sal's pizza) and Gelato next to it. Lots of places to shop and eat within walking distance. This house has plenty of room for all family members and lots of amenities (3 full size refrigerators). We have visited the Outer Banks for 13 years and this was our first time staying at this property. The kitchen is amazing and has everything you need. They even had metal kabob skewers! Just look through the drawers and I promise you will not be disappointed. There are 1/2 bathrooms on the bottom and top floors. Great for game nights and quick access from the pool. The cabana area is spacious and the two gas grills that worked out perfectly (one for chicken and the other for hamburgers). The rooms are spacious. Theater was a hit with the kids. Having a dumpster instead of trash cans was perfect. The gazebo is great for late night star gazing and placing your beach gear. The only downside was beach access for people with hip, knee or leg issues. We shoveled the stairs, which made it a little easier but was still an issue (short climb up a small hill from the beach). Climate changes so this may not be an issue in the future. All-in-all, great property !!

Special Obx weekend
Gathered at Obx to attend a family wedding. The property was even more beautiful in person! Great amenities and location. Wonderful responsiveness from the property manager on any questions. Grab this one if you can. It is definitely worth it!

Yearly Group Trip
This was our 3rd annual group trip to the OBX & our first time in this house. We had 19 adults and at no point felt like we were on top of one another. The only "issue" was that the light in the elevator did not work. No one to blame for this. The bulbs were out of stock. We originally booked the house through a different Realty company and I was concerned when the owner went with a different company midway through the year. Coastal honored that contact and were great to work with. They checked in every day via text but it wasn't annoying at all. More of an FYI, "we are here if you need us" text.

The Sandbox
We had a wonderful time! We had 2 handicap needs, one walking issues and a wheelchair. Elevator was great, wonderfully painted. My mistake in not making sure bathroom was accessible but they came and worked with me in getting bathroom door removed and a deck chair put in shower. Above and beyond help quickly.. Thank you so much. Would definitely use CoastalCarolina again. Now if only you could make the weather cooperate! It was chilly, but thank goodness for the hot tub!

Fabulous Vacation Home
My family of 22 had a wonderful time - we watched movies in the theater room, really enjoyed the heated pool and the private beach. We flew kites, played pool! There was plenty for everyone! It was very nice that even the kids could have their own rooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed the decks and the nice chairs and hot tub - plus the elevator was super for bringing in groceries and those with bad knees !! It was closely located to grocery stores and shopping for the kids - my brother and the boys loved getting up at 5:30 in the morning and fishing at the beach! I can honestly say it was one of the best vacation houses we have ever stayed in and the office personnel were so friendly and helpful! Thank you all very much!!
