Every hour is Happy Hour when you're staying at this three bedroom, two bath charming cottage nestled in the heart of Kill Devil Hills! Just a few streets away from the beach, you’ll have your toes in the sand in minutes. Whether you’re lounging at the house or soaking up the sun by the waves, you’re in the perfect spot. The location is unbeatable—close to shopping, dining, and iconic attractions like the Wright Brothers Memorial and Avalon Fishing Pier, ensuring endless activities for the whole family on your Outer Banks vacation.

Inside, the open and airy living room flows into the outdoor deck, perfect for relaxing in the sun or savoring your morning coffee while curled up with a good book in one of the Adirondack chairs. The updated kitchen comes fully equipped with all the appliances and cookware you need to prepare meals anytime you like. After a day of exploring the OBX, retreat to one of the cozy queen bedrooms, each furnished with beach-inspired décor and offering plenty of space to unwind. And if you're not quite ready to head indoors, head to the carport beneath the house where you'll find ample seating and one of two gas firepits to enjoy under the stars!

Guests staying at Happy Hour have complimentary Avalon Fishing Pier parking and fishing privileges, allowing guests to park and fish at the pier for no additional cost!

Beach Access: Conveniently located close to the beach! Head east out of the driveway and towards the end of Greensboro Street. Head north on New Bern Street and then east on E. Avalon Street. Cross NC-12 at the designated crosswalk to access the beach at Avalon Pier.

Perfect location and comfortable living
I would stay at this beach house again for sure. We needed a place to stay last minute for my son’s 16th birthday and the owner made it happen It felt like home away from home. The house was spotless and the beds were comfortable Can’t wait to spend another few days there

Loved this spot! We are a family of 5 with 3 little ones. Super close to the beach and great restaurants on the "main strip". Target is right next door and convenient for any last minute things we needed. Great house, great location, awesome beach access!!!

5 Stars Perfect Stay
This house was absolutely perfect for our vacation! It was beautifully updated, spotless, and had everything we needed. The amenities were top-notch—comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, and even little extras that made it feel like home. The location was ideal—close to the beach, shops and restaurants but still peaceful and relaxing. The check in and out process was so convenient and easy as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and would definitely stay here again!!

We had the best time staying at this cottage! We came down to celebrate my Husbands 30th birthday with his parents and our two small children. There was plenty of room for four adults and our two girls. The pull out sofa bed folded up so we could use our pack & plays for the kids to sleep. Kitchen and living room look to be newly renovated and very spacious. Bedrooms were cozy and clean. The outside deck/porch was so peaceful in the early morning & late night. I love that there was a gate across the top of the stairs that you could slide and latch, that was my favorite feature for my girls. My two and one year old are escape artist so it gave me peace of mind. This house was in a very good location, and was just a few minutes from everything we wanted to do! We had no problem walking to the beach or driving to find a beach access. The host was very responsive when messaged & was also very friendly. I wish my family and I could have stayed longer. We definitely plan to come back soon :)
