🍂 Fall on the OBX…aka Local’s Summer! 🍂

The air is a bit cooler, the roads are a little less crowded and there are parking spots at the beach accesses again. This can only mean one thing…Fall has officially arrived on the Outer Banks! While summer is great time to visit the OBX, the autumn season is a favorite among the year-round residents and visitors who have had the opportunity to visit during the quieter times of the year. Things seem to be a bit quieter, but there isn’t a shortage of things to do and events to attend, so be sure to book your trip to come visit and see what all of the hype is about!

September:

Outer Banks Kite Festival – Dates: September 13 – September 14, 2024 from 10am – 4pm. Free for all ages!

4th Annual OBX Jeep Invasion – Dates: September 20 – September 22, 2024. Registration required.

16th Annual Throwdown Surf Classic – Date: September 21, 2024. Located at Chicahauk Beach in Southern Shores. Free for all to attend!
