The location is amazing and the view from the Great Room even better. The living space is so generous and the pool area has a nice covered area with tables and comfy seating. The owner did a great job renovating this home. What special memories were made and the house was part of the fun. - Anonymous Posted on 7/20/2026 ### (5/5 stars) It had everything we needed and more. Location was perfect!! - Stacey Posted on 5/30/2026 ### (5/5 stars) It was wonderful and the process was so easy! - Katie Posted on 8/16/2025 ### Wonderful home by the beach (5/5 stars) We loved everything about our stay at a Golden Opportunity! It was our first time staying at this house (we had rented through Coastal Carolina before and trusted them with this new rental which they did not disappoint!). The home has a beautiful kitchen/living area, 6 bedrooms and just had an addition placed in the past few months. The yard is wonderful (big pool, hot tub, corn hole/volleyball court etc). Many nights playing games together and creating memories. Would love to book again. There were two minor issues (hot tub error code not heating and shower not draining) but they were fixed promptly. What a great home and great rental company. We will be back! Special shoutouts to Trey, Haylee, MaKenna, Miranda and Everett for all the help with service and coordination. They were fantastic! - Maureen B Posted on 7/14/2025 ### (5/5 stars) We have stayed at this house several times and by far the best. The new addition is beautiful and so much more room. We traveled with 4 adults and 3 toddlers and the house was perfect size. We loved the pool, the outdoor shower, and the open concept upstairs. The only complaint we have is that it's already booked for same time next year :( we look forward to returning as soon as we can!! - Hollie T. Posted on 9/21/2023 ### A true golden opportunity (5/5 stars) We absolutely loved this house. The location was amazing. We just crossed the street and were on the beautiful beach. The pool was an absolute delight with so many pool floats, the kids had a blast. The hot tub was a delight as well. The house was very comfortable and had all the comforts of home. The outdoor shower and bathroom were an added bonus. We look forward to a return visit! - Carolyn W. Posted on 8/6/2023 ### A magical week (5/5 stars) What a great house!! Posted on 5/21/2023 ### Family adventures in Corolla (5/5 stars) The house was perfect for us. My husband and I along with our three adult kids and their spouses enjoyed the house immensely. The porch swing was a big hit. Also, the pool and hot tub were used a lot. Cornhole was a big hit with my family. Always love a good competition. I loved walking across our quaint street to the beach. I felt very comfortable running by myself through the neighborhood in the morning. We had several family bike rides. From our neighborhood we were able to ride our bikes to get ice cream, pizza, or an afternoon Margarita. Great Location!! - Brenda A. Posted on 4/29/2023 ### Perfect again (5/5 stars) This is our 3rd trip to this property. We love the proximity to the beach and the wonderful decks. The new bathroom next to the pool was a fantastic addition! We will be back! - Trisha D. Posted on 10/16/2022 ### Holy Vacation Rental!!! (5/5 stars) We have been trying to find a place that we can vacation EVERY year. This was it. I cannot say enough great things! It has everything you need from boogie boards to kitchen accessories. We are going back and staying for two weeks. Hands down the best rental and we’ve been to 8 different ones over the years all over Outer Banks. Cleanliness was on point as well!!!!!! - Megan M. This being a semi-oceanfront home, the ocean views from not only the upper deck but inside the upper level were beautiful! - Kristy K. Posted on 7/18/2022 ### Ultimate vacation home (5/5 stars) The house was ideal, clean and accomadated our family. The pool, hot tub and access to the beach was a few of the best attractions. The two restaurants (the broken plate and our favorite North Banks grill) was outstanding. We surely did not want to leave but we definitely will be back. - John F. Posted on 5/21/2022 ### Golden Opportunity-Corolla, NC (5/5 stars) Great property, great location! This house has everything you need for cooking meals for a large group. - Donna S. Posted on 5/7/2022 ### Love (5/5 stars) Awesome property, perfect location. Only thing it lacked was communication. It was next to impossible to get in touch with people. Besides that we had a great week and would definitely stay here again! - Tommy F. Posted on 4/25/2022 ### Wow! What a great house and location!! (5/5 stars) This house was amazing! The pictures really don’t do it justice! Nice and clean with great decor. The kitchen has everything we needed and more! We picked up a grocery order immediately after arriving and enjoyed at least 80% of our meals right at the house. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. We enjoyed the hot tub, the huge yard with a volleyball net and private pool…. And the LOCATION!!!… the beach is seriously right across the street! I walked over every morning with my coffee to watch the sun come up over the ocean…. And went back several times during the day and at night. We had a fabulous week in this house and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable place to stay very close to the beach! ❤️ - Kimberly A. Posted on 10/24/2021 ### We will be back to The Golden Opportunity (5/5 stars) Beautiful and fabulous home! Great location, easy beach access and we enjoyed the saltwater pool everyday. Well stocked in the kitchen, plenty of space and good layout. Comfortable beds. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the view and ocean breeze. We will return to the Golden Opportunity. - Melissa G. Posted on 9/5/2021 ### Wonderful Home!!! (5/5 stars) This is the second year of staying in this home and we couldn't ask for a better place for our family. The location to the beach is perfect especially with little kids. The house has everything you could ever need and then some. We had rain most of the week but were still able to get in the hot tub which was a plus. Can't wait to stay here again. - Michelle S. Posted on 8/7/2021 ### Excellent! We absolutely love this home! It is perfect for our family. (5/5 stars) We love the location. We love the pool. We love all the natural light. We love the huge deck. - Kylee G. Posted on 7/24/2021 ### Terrific home for our family vacation (5/5 stars) We enjoyed our stay at A Golden Opportunity very much. The location was ideal, the pool and hot tub were great features and the home was clean and well supplied with amenities. We will definitely be staying here again during our next trip to the outer banks. We had a wonderful time. - Eileen B. Posted on 6/27/2021 ### Fantastic! (5/5 stars) Unbeatable location, top-notch outdoor space, beautifully renovated, and comfortable beds and furniture. It was a dream home for our family of four. It was so easy to bop back and forth to the beach and we couldn’t get enough of the pool and the views. - Alison N. Posted on 6/11/2021 ### Great Place! (5/5 stars) This place was fantastic. Great location and great amenities. My only complaint was that we rented the place because it had a hot tub and they forgot to get the hot tub ready for us. The owner did call (which I appreciated) and owned the problem and had someone come out on Monday and get it set up, so in the end, we were very satisfied. Other than that, a perfect experience and we would definitely rent this place again in the future! - Joel L. Posted on 4/11/2021 ### Wonderful location, house in Corolla (5/5 stars) This was my family's first time in the Outer Banks and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in "A Golden Opportunity." The house was clean, very well maintained, and had all the amenities we could have wanted. The kitchen was very nicely stocked with equipment, etc. The beds were comfortable and in general everything just worked! And the location is great--the view of ocean is perfect and we and our kids made the 10-second walk to the beach multiple times a day. Would stay here again. - Benjamin H. Posted on 10/31/2020 ### The Perfect Beach Escape (5/5 stars) Golden Opportunity exceeded our expectations! It looks exactly like it does on the pictures.
