The pool heat was broken all week, and the home was not public ready by its owners. The upstairs refrigerator temperature needed to be repaired, the icemaker downstairs did not work at all, there was five exterior lights that were burnt out, and the front set of steps were old, ragged, dilapidated, and nails popping up, making them a trip hazard for our family members. Also a dresser drawer was broken in bedroom 5. We had to walk around and take pictures of things so they knew that we did not cause the damage. Coastal Carolina vacations and sales did their best to fix things as they could. One young man named Beau was very polite and was Johnny on the spot to fix what he could. We have never had to call anybody on any of the homes we’ve leased for any repairs. Not until this year. Beau and CCV should receive 5 stars but the cottage and its owners gets 1 star. - Harold Posted on 6/6/2026 ### (5/5 stars) This was the perfect place for 8 adults, 2 kids, and a dog! Clean, beautiful, spacious, and the amenities were great. Beds were all very comfortable. Loved that every room had their own full baths. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and hot tub. The view from the balcony’s were great, especially the top floor; the dining area was the best! Walked to our favorite Booty Treats for dessert after dinners. Walk to the beach was not bad at all! Lots of room to park multiple vehicles. We had 4 at most during our stay and there was room for a few more. Host was super nice and made us feel welcomed. Very communicative even with all of our questions and last minute decision to add the pool heat! We are already talking about coming back next year! - Courtney Posted on 4/27/2026 ### (5/5 stars) Great home for multiple or large families. Plenty of space for all, great set up - Katherine Posted on 4/20/2026 ### (4/5 stars) Nice for my family size, we liked it some things did need some maintenance to it but everything else was a perfect size for 11 of us . Posted on 10/28/2025 ### (5/5 stars) Had a great time at Our Happy Place! Plenty of room for all my family and very close to everything we needed. Beach access was a quick walk and it was right off the bridge into Nags Head. Highly recommend to large families getting together and wanting to be around things that everyone can enjoy! - Barbara Posted on 10/22/2025 ### (5/5 stars) We had a great week! Floors could have been cleaner and the outside stairs, decking and hand rails are in need of replacement. Found Rusty nails backing out and loose boards but this did not prevent us from enjoying our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed. The short walk to the ocean is wonderful! Loved that every bedroom had its own bath! Would definitely rent again. - Alice Posted on 8/30/2025 ### (5/5 stars) Great location - Verified traveler Posted on 8/25/2025 ### (5/5 stars) Great house. Loved the layout of the home. Especially the fact that every bedroom had its own bathroom. Home was clean. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied. The location of the home was great. Only a short walk to the beach. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. As far as Coastal Carolina Vacations. The staff was very friendly and when you had an issue they were there to help right away. I would highly recommend this home and Coastal Carolina Vacations.
