Southern Comforts: Oceanside home in Nags Head with a hot tub, access to the Ocean Watch community pool, and just a quick walk to the beach!

Southern Comforts is a spacious, oceanside 5-bedroom house in the Ocean Watch community of the Village at Nags Head and is the perfect vacation rental for families and couples. With its prime location, you can enjoy ocean views from the top-level deck while sipping your morning coffee. The property also features a hot tub for ultimate relaxation and a community pool just steps away for a refreshing swim.

Inside, the house boasts a great room with a large TV, a dining area that can accommodate up to 10 people, and a kitchen island with seating for 4. The loft offers additional seating and ocean views. There is also a den with a TV and a sleep sofa, providing extra space for relaxation or flexible sleeping arrangements. The house includes 2 king en-suite bedrooms and 2 queen rooms and a room with 2 bunk beds, ensuring comfortable accommodations for all guests. 

Whether you're looking to relax by the beach or explore the nearby attractions, Southern Comforts is the perfect home base for your Oceanside getaway.

Community Amenities: Southern Comforts guests have access to the Oceanwatch Community amenities including:

Beach Access: Just a short walk from the home! Safely cross Virginia Dare Trail at the pedestrian crosswalk at the end of Ocean Watch Court.  Head south to Forrest Street to access the beach. Access has a paved parking lot for those who choose to drive, outdoor showers and a lifeguard stand (in-season only).

This home met all of my families needs. It was very close to the beach. The sleeping conditions was perfect for my family of 9. I would highly recommend this rental for a large family.

Such a beautiful home. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, definitely was a major bonus. The sun room was absolutely beautiful, I will most definitely be back.

Great for a family
We've been vacationing in the OBX for years and have enjoyed staying in villages from Corolla to Hatteras. Southern Comforts is one of our absolute favorites! It's situated on a quiet street in Nags Head close to restaurants and shopping but also close to Ramps 2 and 4 if you want to get away from it all and put your 4wd on the beach. There's a clear view of the ocean from the eagles nest and we spent many nights on the well furnished decks listening to music and making memories with family and friends.

Best OBX House
Our family loves coming to OBX and this has been our favorite house so far. The beach is only a couple minute walk which works out well with kids to be able to get back quickly. We spent most nights hanging out on the deck or the hot tub which the kiddos loved. We highly recommend and plan to come back here!

Perfect location, beautiful home!
I have stayed at Southern Comforts several times for the last 5+ years. The house is beautiful, clean, and is well decorated/furnished. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking/entertaining. The beach is just a few steps away which we love. The views of the ocean from the top deck are awesome and you can also partially see the sunset too. The house is located centrally with a ton of shops and restaurants nearby. I look forward to spending more time at this home!
