In a short period of time came out and diagnosed the problem and provided portable ac units for the entire 3rd floor. It was still warm but nothing compared to outside temperatures. Great group of guys. The unit was repaired the following day. The housekeeping service was really good also. We have rented this unit for probably 20 years or more and Coastal Carolina is right on when there's a problem. Only thing we saw lacking this trip was a real shortage of pots and pans and in several places in the home we noticed mouse droppings . Tried to overlook that and kept on the lookout for anything but never saw the proof itself. Our second vacay this second time was great. Shout out to all Coastal Carolina employees who handled everything so promptly. Moonstruck has it all, including blenders, plenty of pots and pans of all sizes, plates, cups, etc.The rooms are comfortable. The views are great. All our kids enjoyed the private pool and hot tub.It’s awesome to be so close to the public beach access. One note: this beach access is where a storm drain feeds into the ocean. So there is a warning sign to go 200 yards down the beach to avoid possible water-born illnesses.And, this house is perfectly located in Nags Head. You’re close to everything!WiFi was good. There isn’t a ton of parking, but we easily fit three large vehicles without access issues.The drink fridge on the first floor was clutch.Check in and check out were a breeze. It’s directly across from beach access, down the road from restaurants and convenience stores, 3 minutes from a grocery store, and around the block from the sand dune park. It felt like we were beachfront without the price! The road it’s on is busier than expected, but there’s a crosswalk. The house was well stocked. We noticed the blender was broken and we got sent a brand new one the next day. We had 4 families and it was perfect. The kids shared rooms with an adjoining bathroom. The wrap around decks were great. Would have loved the pool to be bigger, but not a deal breaker. The house was extremely clean, well-equipped with plenty of cups, dishes, cooking utensils and appliances. There was even a crockpot, espresso machine, Keurig, and an extra toaster! The bedroom and bathroom layout was perfect, the big comfy sectional was great for watching movies, and between the seats at the bar and the huge dining room table…our group of 13 people could all sit and eat together! The pool was much smaller than the pools we’ve had at rentals in the past, but we mainly used it to cool off after coming back from the beach…so it was fine. Thank you for sharing this home with us!
